Store Coupon Policies

Thanks to Frugonomics 101 for all the info!

Target...

• Do they accept internet coupons? YES.
• Do they stack coupons? YES. You can use a Target coupon with a manufacturer's coupon for extra savings, unless either prohibits such use.
• Do they accept competitor's coupons? NO.

"Dear Target Guest, Coupons are a great way to save even more when shopping at Target, and we make it easy to use them at our stores. But because of the variety of coupons available to our guests, we do have some guidelines for how coupons can be redeemed at Target:
-- We accept two kinds of coupons: Target-issued coupons and manufacturer-issued coupons.
-- We'll accept one Target coupon and one manufacturer coupon for the same item, unless either coupon prohibits it.
-- We can't give cash back if the face value of a coupon is greater than the purchase value of the item; in that case, we'll adjust the value of the coupon to equal the price of the item.
-- We can't accept coupons from other retailers, or coupons for products not carried in our stores.
-- All valid coupons should be presented to the cashier at the time of sale.

• Do they double coupons? NO.
• Do they accept competitor's coupons? NO, except pharmacy.
• Do they accept internet (printable) coupons? See below, but my CVS does.
  

"CVS/pharmacy does not distribute its policies in writing; we apologize for any inconvenience this might cause. Each individual store has a copy of our most updated coupon acceptance policy. All crew members were required to review this policy as well. We only accept competitor's coupons for pharmacy purchases and we do not double manufacturer coupons. If you have any type of coupon issues while you are in the store, please ask to speak to the Store Manager or supervisor in charge while you are at the store."

• Do they accept competitor's coupons? NO.
• Do they accept internet (printable) coupons? See below, but my Walgreens generally does.
  

"Unfortunately, we do not have a coupon policy rather guidelines we follow. At this time, we do not accept competitor coupons or price match competitors prices. Most internet coupons may not be accepted due to excessive fraudulent internet coupons being available or distributed. (Walgreens does accept walgreens.com or smartsource.com coupons). A manufacturer and Walgreens coupon may be used in combination for one item as long as neither coupons states "not valid with any other offer", such as Walgreens EasySaver coupons do.
